“Jungle in the Boxx”: The new Brandboxx trade fair theme

“It’s a jungle out there” – for years Randy Newman’s song for the neurotic TV investigator Monk echoed on TV sets. In 2018 the jungle is everywhere. In July and August, the Brandboxx trade fairs take a look at the fashion trends in spring and summer 2018. Under the motto “Jungle in the Boxx”, next year’s warm season shows its intense, colorful side.

Welcome to the (fashion) jungle!

In the spring and summer of 2018, a fresh breeze will blow through the wardrobe: Magic, adventure and fantasy are the central leitmotifs of the coming trade fair season. The fascination of the rainforest is reflected in colors and prints. Colorful tones and intense colors – agave, khaki, deep sea blue, numerous shades of green and a combination of eye-catching and neutral splashes of color – meet prints with exotic animals and plants. Digital alienation misses natural looks with playful high-tech charm. The color contrast program is also continued in the materials used. Flowing fabrics with flower applications or colorful embroidery are complemented by modern-futuristic elements such as netting and mesh. Volume collides with figure accentuation, plus long cuts, new suit and jacket shapes and unusual skirt lengths.

Colorful shoe and sports trends

The colorful jungle colors, enriched by omnipresent contrasts in style and material, do not stop at shoe and bag fashion. Thin soles on the one hand, thick plateaus on the other: a wide range of colors collides with animal and floral applications and charms. At the same time, a growing trend towards a sporty look can be observed. Sneakers and sneaker ballerinas navigate through the urban jungle together with trekking and functional sandals. Speaking of sports: “Sport Power” promises power and energy for sports fashion in spring / summer 2018. Luminous colors, creative patterns and innovative materials provide a huge motivational kick for all athletic endeavors.
